Tidy Tuesday Series

Good Morning, y’all!

It’s Tidy Tuesday but with a twist ……

Can you believe it …… Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I can’t wait.

So I’ll resume next Tuesday with  tips that have always helped me plan for the big day.

Today we will talk about how Tidiness is a life style …… and for me, it has helped me find more time for special projects, watching my favorite shows, enjoying a good book with a cup of tea, glass of wine or just chillin with my co-pilot …… booyah!

So sit back, prop your legs up with a morning cup of your favorite brew.

It’s Tidy Tuesday!

More time to read and drink wine or tea …… yep you heard me. Plus, you will look forward to coming home to your perfect sanctuary. It does not matter the size or location, it’s your home. It’s where memories are made. It’s where you should feel love, comfort, joy and most of all peace. It is your perfect place.

Tip 1. Make your bed up, every morning. It actually only takes a few minutes to make your room look organized and pretty. It creates a positive state of mind when you enter your room. It will become a habit, a good one that will lead to more.

Tip 2. Morning breakfast is so important. Oh I know, you might be saying, jeez …… how am I going to make my bed, make breakfast, eat breakfast , feed the dog …… I will have to get up so early. Oh boohoo to you. Some of you might even add to that list, I am sure. There are so many breakfast options available, you can make in a jar the night before, or take a few minutes to make in the morning that are still healthy and yummy.

Side bar – I deserve it and so do You!

C’mon people, a bowl of cereal, a couple scrambled eggs, some toast …… this is your life, this is your body …… take control of it.

Tip 3. Set the dishwater to run every night and empty it everyday. I tend to wash dishes by hand except when I have guests over, I sorta kinda enjoy it …… yep just a little Abnormal at times, teehee.

Tip 4. Put things back where they belong. Oh this is one that brings a chuckle because I now put things back in their spot immediately. It wasn’t always that way …… oh yeah, I would be looking at that pair of scissors, shoes, keys or something for days which just creates clutter, ugh. Every item has a place, keep it there.

See, getting and staying Tidy and Organized is really not difficult. Oh I know that  changing your routine and habits will take time. It’s hard to rewire your life habit, more like impossible overnight.

It’s funny how what we do become habits. No one has to remind us to brush our teeth every morning. It’s a habit, it’s a routine.

When you change habits to improve your life, it shows that little things do matter.

Start small …… but start!

Hey, you deserve an upgrade to your daily routine. We all do from time to time.

Life changes, but there is still only 24 hours in a day.

The more tidy and organized habits you create, will only help you get the most out of life!
