Top of the Morning Tuesday

Top of the Morning Tuesday!
Oh my ‘life force’ is strong today.

Watching it rain with my first cup of coffee and then it stopped just so we could enjoy our morning walk!
And although I kept it light and airy it actually feels like a sweatshirt kind of morning. Wait, what …… it’s June in Texas and waking up to temps in the 60’s.
‘Pinch me’
Our walks are my early morning lessons. They ignite my energy like rain on the flowers. I realize that the force of my energy is within and walking outside helps to shift my perspective.
It’s easy, too easy to get caught up in the ‘hurry-ness of life. Oh I have been guilty of it. But there is a perfect tempo to retirement that goes beyond and much deeper and it is good for my soul.
Time is the secret ingredient.
Just like nature blooms on it’s own time. Cooking a yummy meal takes time. Reading a book takes time. Healing needs time. Aging takes time.
But the minute we believe we stop growing and healing because another year has been added to our life, the fun is gone …… the spark in our soul darkens.

I see the beauty all around me on this cool cloudy morning. I feel the energy in our home that resonates in my heart. I hear the powerful sounds of silence. (It has so much to say)
I am not of this life, Life is inside of me.
Boom!
So yeah, it’s a two-cupper day with a light breakfast, oh my!
I may not know what will happen next, but I will cherish these days.
I may rest a little more than I use to. I may walk a little slower than I use to. But there is one thing that I know; my energy and life force remain strong.
I look for the things in life that bring me joy.
We all have things to do that are out of necessity. And then I realize that there are so many activities that we do that maybe are just not the ‘right’ activities.
I’ve always been a pretty independent thinker and not one to ‘follow the crowd’. And this definitely helps me to follow the things that bring me joy.
Nothing worse than doing an activity because it’s someone else’s idea of fun. It doesn’t mean one needs to avoid some group activity from time to time, but it’s important to find and follow the rhythm of your life.
Don’t let the false beliefs of others determine what brings you joy. Regardless of your age or position; the things and people in your life should be assisting in your life force, if they are not; it might be time for a shift in perspective.
It is up to each of us to invest in what matters in our lives.
So yeah, today is a two-cupper morning while gazing out the window with Riley laying nearby, all from our Zen Den!
The spirit of Jesus is here and there is no shortage of energy life force in our home.
