It’s Wednesday and it’s a glorious one!

Wednesday Wisdom, all day long ……

What does it mean to me …… the ability to see the ‘big picture’, a sense of proportion and considerable introspection. Of course as I experience life and all the ups and downs, I believe my wisdom continues to develop and grow. To truly gain wisdom is not just going through the motions, so to speak …… for me, it’s living with optimism.

Yep, everyday.

Here’ how ……

Armor Of God …… Peace Shoes

This is the peace that lives in my heart and mind. God gives us peace through him and in him. When I encounter obstacles in my way that are trying to make me lose my footing, I remember who has thrown those, just wanting and waiting for me to stumble, wanting to discourage and create self-doubt. So what do I do …… I kick those obstacles out of my way, way out. I remember that I am wearing Peace Shoes. (Whether they are heels, flip flops, tennies or bare feet)

Armor of God …… Belt of Truth

My belt holds my beliefs, my faith and integrity in place. My beliefs and faith are cemented in me through the Bible. Without integrity in all that I do, I will not win the battle against evil. My belt holds it all together …… beliefs, faith and integrity.

Armor of God …… Breastplate of Righteousness

My breastplate covers my heart and all my vital organs. The evil one is always looking to find chinks in my armor through my heart to my mind. I stay alert, very alert and will not let it in. God is my savior. I am forever grateful. I have conversations with Him, all the time. The glory is Gods, not mine.

Armor of God …… Helmet of Salvation

My helmet protects and guards my mind. Do you ever hear thoughts from someone full of mean, negative, fear-based words and other attacks of the mind? We all have. It’s important to recognize who those people are and put your helmet on. Guard your mind, always. I always remind myself that a wise person is hungry for truth, while the fool feeds on trash.

Armor of God …… Shield of Faith

My shield displays my faith in God. I know that I must protect my heart. Unfortunately, I know that I will encounter people who are filled with discouraging sentiments like flaming arrows aimed at my heart. My shield protects my heart and I will raise it knowing that God is with me to protect me. I know that having faith in God, will move mountains.

Today’s a glorious day!

Yep, rain boots and umbrellas were put to good use yesterday and we now are welcoming a cooler day, booyah!

Coffee on the patio with a little blanket, oh my ……. a start to great mornings to come for sure. I thought about getting Riley a new Fall sweater …… for about a second. See my little Riley is not into clothing …… of any kind. And besides, this little guy puts out the heat, kinda like having my own little heater on my lap or next to me in bed and that is perfect for me!
