Wednesday Wisdom

It’s Wednesday Wisdom,

and it is a glorious one for sure!

What could be better than hearing from an old friend ……

I said it before ……

My circle of ‘friends’ may be smaller than it was,  yet there are people that will always be a part of my life. You know …… the people that you actually want to share your life’s highs and lows with. The ones that bring comfort just hearing their voice.

We may not talk quite as often and we may not see each other as much as we would like, but we also know, that a little distance between us will not remove the connection that unites us.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalms 23:6)

There is not a single second, moment or day that goes by that I do not thank the One who makes it all possible. I know that my salvation depends, not on my sinlessness at death, but on my decision to believe in Jesus Christ.

For nothing will be impossible with God. (Luke 1:37)

Getting older is such a blessing. Everyday I get to witness His glorious love. I get to see His marvelous creations. I get to feel His love and power.

It is in Christ, we find who we are and what we are living for. (Ephesians 1:11)

Oh I know He intervenes in my life. I see His hand in everything in my life. I read His guidance in the Bible. It’s my rule book for faith and practice. I do believe that if we know and understand the scriptures, we will be well on our way to having His guidance. He never guides His people contrary to the clear principles of His written Word.

True humility and fear of the Lord are riches, honor and long life. (Proverbs 22:4)

Oh, it’s not ‘rose’ color glasses as some may think. I would never have survived my life without His divine intervention, and I certainly wouldn’t have the amazing life I live filled with love, joy and peace.

As I release my grip from things of this earth—things that are as fleeting as I am …… then and only then do I feel my soul soar. Oh yes, I release my soul to love and trust in God alone. He gives me the strength to walk to that high, high, highest place …… because He gives me power of His own Spirit, this I know.

Morning coffee next to Riley, a little gym time and yummy breakfast with my bestie …… oh yeah, this is marvelous Wednesday Wisdom all day long!

Blessings from our home to yours.
