Windy Wednesday!
Oh Windy; you said you would return and we feel you.
Thank goodness the sun is shining because even all bundled up for our walk this morning Riley would stop at times as your draftiness could be felt, Ha!
And we know that this is just a prelude to what’s coming.
As record lows will be felt in the near future we are definitely getting prepared. Because your relatives; ice and snow may be paying us a visit, ugh.

I read this morning that our power source company is prepared and we should not experience loss of power, although no one can actually predict the danger and damage ice can do.
I am confident we will not have a repeat and am doing everything I can to be ready.
Kinda hard to believe since we are in the 60’s today and tomorrow but I have lived in Texas long enough to see it change drastically in one nite and even within hours especially in the winter.
My relatives living up north are already experiencing this blizzard with lots of snow …… no thank you.
I am hoping for a calm warm weekend inside, watching some of my favorite movies and shows. And of course lots of football too!
Thank goodness we have a dome stadium. Any of you fans going to the game, be safe and courteous on the roads. It could be dicey on Sunday.
But today albeit on the windy side, is a beautiful sunny January day and reminds me why I love Texas so much.

So as Windy is staying with us for a while, get prepared for her relatives to be at our doorsteps soon.
Please prepare as much as you can for your household and especially for your furry family members. They depend on it and should not be left outside in winter weather.
Be safe, Be well.
Namasté.
