Piece by Piece, Thursday – January

Piece by Piece, Thursday.
Today started off in slow and quiet mode.
After feeding Riley and settling in with coffee in hand in my favorite chair, it’s like the slow and quiet mode had been pushed and I realized that my desire to get ‘things’ done today will just start a little later.
My morning quote today: ‘Arrange whatever pieces come your way’ Virginia Woolf.
Not only does this quote have so much meaning, it has come on a day that I can only believe it’s strategically orchestrated and perfectly aligned to deliver its message;  spiritual message to me.

Jig saw puzzles have been on my mind. As I was talking to someone yesterday, I mentioned I had been thinking of buying a jigsaw puzzle. I recently deleted the games on my iPad because they had lost their appeal and challenge and I was thinking of something new and different to try.
And just like that – the quote above appeared to me.
Many read this quote from a philosophical standpoint to take life as it comes in all different sizes and shapes, (which ultimately makes up lives). Like a jigsaw puzzle! I do too.
And then there is a deeper connection in knowing that I (we) can rearrange the shapes and sizes of the pieces in our lives.
I get to awaken my spirits. I get to see the beauty in each moment. I get to move past conformity. I get to be curious and open to change.
I get to see the endless possibilities of my imagination, my creativity, my love.

We are all on this journey connecting to the beauty and awe of our universe. Why not embrace each moment and experience with openness and compassion for others and for ourselves.
So yes,  I get to keep the slow and quiet mode on for …… as long as I need today!
Be safe, Be well.
Namasté.
